Christmas is the busiest time of year at London's airports. Flights run late, the queues get longer and most people carry more luggage than usual. A chauffeur waiting in arrivals is one less thing to sort out when you land, and every Privev car is fully electric.
Do you run airport transfers over Christmas?
Yes. We are available 24/7 through the festive period, including Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Eve.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
We track every flight and move the pick-up time automatically, so a late landing doesn't mean a missed car or a charge for the delay. Your chauffeur meets you in arrivals with a name board, and 60 minutes of waiting time is included, which helps when baggage reclaim is slow.
Which London airports do you cover?
Heathrow, Gatwick, London City, Luton and Stansted, plus private terminals. As a guide, Heathrow to Central London takes about 60 minutes and Gatwick about 80, depending on traffic. Our airport services page has the details for each one.
Will the whole family and the luggage fit?
For families and groups, the Mercedes EQV seats up to six passengers and takes six large suitcases plus two carry-ons. The Mercedes EQS and BMW i7 take up to three passengers with two large suitcases and two carry-ons.
We also supply infant, child and booster seats. There may be an extra cost, so ask for them when you book.
Are your cars electric?
Every car in the fleet is, so your airport run produces no tailpipe emissions. We also plant a tree for every ride; our eco chauffeuring page explains how we work.
How far ahead should I book for Christmas?
Book as soon as your flights are confirmed if you want a particular car. We do take same-day requests when a car is free, and cancelling more than 24 hours before pick-up is free.
You can book online, by phone or by email at any hour: book your Christmas airport transfer.
